FIVE-TIME Olympic gold medalist Ian Thorpe will not compete at Australia's world championship selection trials, Swimming Australia said yesterday. Thorpe has opted not to nominate for any events at the eight-day meet, which doubles as the Australian championships, starting in Adelaide next Friday.
