CHINA’S Duan Yingying battled back from a set down to beat American Vania King 1-6, 6-4, 6-2 in the final of the Jiangxi Open yesterday for her first career title. It took Duan two hours and two minutes to secure the hard-fought victory over her sixth-seeded opponent at the Nanchang International Sports Center. The home favorite served up eight aces on her way to the title.
