Murray fans made to wait on action-packed day
ANDY Murray's vocal supporters will have plenty of time to warm up at Wimbledon today with the world number three due to play last on Centre Court.
Just like on Tuesday, when the British hope began his campaign just after 1600 GMT, schoolchildren may just be home in time to see Murray feature on the tournament's fourth day.
The 22-year-old faces Latvia's Ernests Gulbis who, though not enjoying his best year on tour, is a dangerous opponent and reached the French Open quarter-finals last year.
The Centre Court crowd will get value for money as Argentine Juan Martin del Potro takes on 2002 champion Lleyton Hewitt and young Dane Caroline Wozniacki faces Russian Maria Kirilenko.
The Court One faithful won't feel short-changed either as they are served up a feast of power with five-time champion Venus Williams starting against Ukraine's Kateryna Bondarenko.
Up next will be American sixth seed Andy Roddick and Chilean master-blaster Fernando Gonzalez against Igor Kunitsyn of Russia and Argentina's Leonardo Mayer respectively.
