UKRAINE’S Elina Svitolina hit a career high world ranking after her victory in Dubai helped her crack the WTA top 10 released yesterday. The 22-year-old moved up three places to 10 after beating former world No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki in Saturday’s final. Denmark’s Wozniacki moved up one place to 14th. Serena Williams remains on top of the rankings but less than 500 points ahead of Angelique Kerber.
