WORLD number one Serena Williams advanced to her first Indian Wells final since 2001 by defeating Poland's Agnieszka Radwanska 6-4, 7-6 (7/1) on Friday.
Williams, 34, advances to face either another former Indian Wells champion Victoria Azarenka (2012) or 18th seeded Czech Karolina Pliskova.
