THE Cuban contemporary art exhibition “Rolling They Meet” is ongoing at the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center. Based on the premise of diversity, the works on display show the variety of genres, materials and styles in Cuban art. Around 150 paintings, engravings, photographs, sculptures, installations and video art give testimony to a powerful and high quality artistic movement.
The exhibition includes works by about 100 Cuban artists. It is the biggest Cuban contemporary art exhibition presented in China since diplomatic relations between the countries were established 54 years ago.
