IT'S time to enjoy the bright summer sunshine (well, hopefully sometime soon), relax with some mellow tunes and pick up a bargain or two at - quite literally - an innovative market.
The Knowledge & Innovation Community market provides a great opportunity for rummaging around among everything from original-design clothes, shoes, jewelry and accessories to handicrafts, books, appliances, toys, pet items, kitchenware and art crafts.
As well as cool and trendy bargains, there's also a summer music festival, featuring musical styles including jazz, rock and folk, performed by 10 groups of French musicians.
Market visitors can also enjoy a live painting show and other street artists' performance and can also pitch tents on the site.
And if you're tempted to embark on some stallholder wheeling and dealing, stalls for the weekend cost 200 yuan (US$32). Email for further stall information.
