Stars of TV and film get animated at Comic Con

COMIC enthusiasts must not miss out on the third Shanghai Comic Con, scheduled for the upcoming National Holidays. The comic con festival promises to showcase various pop cultural elements, such as animation, film and TV, video games, graphic novels and cosplay. Matt Bomer, the actor who starred in TV series White Collar and film The Normal Heart, is appearing at the event, while several domestic and international comic artists also join the fun and frolics, including: Dexter Soy, Jacob Chabot, Jorge Molina, Yoshiyuki Tomino and Wang Bo. Fan meetings, panels, video and board game contests and cosplay competitions are all scheduled throughout the three-day event, while more than 50 brands will bring their comic-themed products to the annual carnival for comic fans.
Date: 12-6pm October 5, 10am-6pm October 6, 10am-5pm October 7
Tickets: 120 yuan for October 5, 200 yuan for October 6, 180 yuan for October 7
Venue: Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center
