A road filled with diversions

SNAKING through the former French concession, Huashan Road is both a busy commercial road as well as a quiet tree-lined enclave. Walking along the road passing Zhenning Road, one will discover many historical landmark buildings as well as residences with different architectural styles. The section between Tai'an and Kangping roads is closed for subway construction. Don't let this deceive you though - there are many notable places to be found between Wukang and Tai'an roads. This week, we've uncovered a few places to spark your interest and your taste buds. Despite the construction project going on at the moment, the area is still worth a visit.
