CHRISTIAN Louboutin designed a pair of beautiful stilettos and a pair of men's shoes in exclusive colors based on the "Tattoo'' collection for the charity auction of the recent Shanghai Soong Ching Ling Miss Universe China Beauty Charity Gala. The 15cm velvet stiletto featuring exclusive hand-embroidered dragon pattern was sold at 150,000 yuan (US$23,581) while the other pair made 60,000 yuan. The mission of the gala dinner was to raise money for three charities: Operation Smile, the Shanghai International Film Festival and the Shanghai Soong Ching Ling Foundation Safety for Mothers and Infants project.
