Fall girls line mixes, matches
EARLY this month at his Madison Avenue office, Ralph Lauren hosted a runway show for his fall 2011 girls collection, inviting daughters of fashion editors, socials (Lauren duPont, Amanda Brooks, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff), his best customers from Ralph Lauren and Saks Fifth Avenue and, of course, a few mommy bloggers.
The budding fashionistas took to their front-row seats with gift bags (knit messenger bags) and clapped with excitement as each look came down the runway: intarsia sweaters in wintery motifs; a Grunge-inspired red plaid maxidress; a bohemian fur vest-floral dress combo, and plenty of Lauren's signature
Western wear, Navajo and equestrian looks.
In case the guests want to relive it, the show will be on ralphlauren.com and saks.com on Thursday.
