Glamor with fun the new Folli theme

Folli Follie has recently relocated its China flagship store on Huaihai Road M. to a spacious, three-story new location on the same street in Shanghai. A media preview of its 2009 autumn/winter collection was held at the 400-square-meter venue on Wednesday.
Since it opened the first store on the Chinese mainland in 2002, the popular Greek jeweler has started nearly 70 stores.
Dimitrios Koutsolioutsos, president of Folli Follie SA, was in Shanghai to attend the event. He attributes the brand's quick success in China to its philosophy of "affordable, fashionable luxury."
Koutsolioutsos also plans to introduce Links of London, another popular mid-range jewelry brand he owns, to the Chinese mainland in October.
At the event, models presented Folli Follie's upcoming collection under the theme "All That Jazz."
Inspired by a 1920s and 1930s retro style, the collection of jewelry pieces, leather accessories and fashion timepieces was a blend of materials and colors as well as "old and new" styles, reflecting a lighthearted glamor.
Chunky flowers, lacy ruffles, luscious lips, saxophones and high heels have inspired Folli Follie designers to also create a variety of charm pendants, which are key pieces in the upcoming collection.
