LVMH real deal
MOVIE stars, film producers, writers and leading fashion house executives were out in force on Monday for the grand opening of L'Avenue, the latest real estate project by the luxury conglomerate LVMH on Chinese mainland.
The L'Avenue complex in Changning District designed by Japanese architect Jun Aoki, has a distinctive "boot-shape" with a 134-meter-tall white tower and a retail area.
LVMH has brought a retinue of its own brands to the shopping mall, including Louis Vuitton. Other brands with outlets there include watchmakers Piaget and Rolex.
