Swatch and Spanish multimedia artist Jose Casado opened a new art exhibition at The Swatch Art Peace Hotel entitled “OFF.v02” that runs until September 10. The exhibition combines sculpture, paintings, video and performance. The design for the face of the new “OFF’’ watch from Swatch displayed at the exhibition uses bright multi-colored images across the face and strap — with the exception of the first five-minute section of the face, which is left black. The black section is a reminder, the artist said, to “take time off” — five seconds every minute, five minutes every hour — to “do something completely different.”
