Bone cancer patients get 3D-printed pelvis

A 3D-printed titanium pelvic prosthesis was displayed by a doctor at Xijing Hospital of The Fourth Military Medical University in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province, on Wednesday. A medical team at the hospital successfully implanted three 3D-printed prostheses in three bone cancer patients. It’s the first time the procedure was performed in Asia.
