Clinton working on book
HILLARY Rodham Clinton’s next book is scheduled for release this year and remains a work in progress.
The former US Secretary of State offered few specifics during a speech Wednesday at the annual gathering of the Association of American Publishers. Clinton said even less about a possible run for president in 2016.
The memoir will cover her time as secretary during the first term of the Obama administration. Clinton said she is consulting with her husband, former President Bill Clinton, and others as she revises the book.
Hillary Clinton already is a best-selling author, with “Living History” selling over 1 million copies. She said the new book will address the “rapidly changing and increasingly interdependent world” and 21st century challenges from “Crimea to climate change.”
“Just another light, summer read,” joked Clinton, 66.
