FOR once, Cordell Logan, ex-military assassin turned flight instructor, is happy. After years of trying, he finally has reconciled with his beautiful ex-wife Savannah, and together they are flying to Lake Tahoe to remarry.
While flying over the spectacular Sierra Nevada, he spots metal protruding from a snowbank. It turns out to be the wreckage of a small plane that disappeared during a snowstorm nearly 60 years ago. It leads to an impossible choice. With a tension-packed plot and fine prose this is just what fans have come to expect from this author.
