FANS of Hollywood in the 1940s and '50s will enjoy the randy banter in "Ava Gardner: The Secret Conversations" (Simon & Schuster) about the men that Gardner married. The book is based on tapes from an ill-fated collaboration between writer Peter Evans and Gardner.
