Hong Kong - Art Basel city date
THE first Art Basel fair hosted by Hong Kong boasts a prestigious array of international art, highlighting the city's role as an art hub.
The four-day annual show, which wraps up today, is widely regarded as the world's premier art fair and has until now only been held in Switzerland and the United States.
An eclectic mix of works from more than 3,000 international artists are on display through 245 of the world's leading galleries.
There are representative works by names such as Andy Warhol and Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, as well as pieces by Chinese artists, including Ding Yi, Yang Fudong and Zhou Tiehai.
