SAMSUNG’S Galaxy A8, released on Wednesday in Shanghai, is 5.9milimeters thick — the slimmest model in Samsung’s history and about 15 percent thinner than the Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S6 Edge.
Into its slim design it crams a 5.7-inch screen, a 3,050mAh capacity battery, a 16-megapixel camera and a fingerprint recognition feature.
It supports all 4G networks in China with dual SIM card slots.
And to add to the appeal for local customers, the number 8 is lucky in China. The latest model is priced from 3,199 yuan (US$516).
