Shanghai - Hotel home for art exhibition

Citizen Art Shanghai 2013, one of the biggest art events this month, is held at luxury hotel Twelve at Hengshan through tomorrow.
It’s the third edition of the event and nearly 40 art organizations and galleries from home and abroad are participating.
What makes Citizen Art Shanghai unique is turning a hotel room into a small exhibition booth for visitors.
“We are primarily aiming at hotel guests as potential buyers of art. We need the right people to come and buy,” said Joan Han, the director of Citizen Art Shanghai 2013.
“Visitors can immediately find out the visual effect of the artwork when placed in their home,” Han said.
“I am sure a relaxed and elegant art trip at a five-star hotel would impress the visitors.”
