Singapore - ‘Terrible lizards’ rise again

More than 400 dinosaur fossils and models, as well as some 50 original artworks, take an in-depth look into the rise and extinction of the giant animals. “Dinosaurs: Dawn to Extinction,” a first-of-its-kind exhibition on display in Singapore, combines items from the most treasured exhibits from museums in United States and Australia, and works by artist Peter Trusler.

Exhibits on display are mainly those from the Precambrian, Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous times. They include some of the oldest dinosaur fossils and a number of little-known species, some in their first public display. One section enables visitors to learn and explore the animals’ behavior and living conditions.

The exhibition runs through July 24 at Art Science Museum in Marina Bay Sands.
