Theaters woo children, parents with host of events
THEATERS in Shanghai are gearing up with a host of activities ahead of Children’s Day which falls on June 1.
Parents play a huge role in grooming and influencing a child’s mind when it comes to art and other hobbies. And even in how they react and feel.
Dalija Acin Thelander, director of Sensory Theater’s “Baby Space,” says parents must “influence how the child feels about what is going on.”
“The children’s theater is not just meant for children, but for the parents as well,” says Thomas Eisenhardt, director of baby dance “Again.”
“It will be an interesting journey for the children to experience the theater, while it will also be of interest to the parents to experience their children experiencing the theater,” he says.
