YEW Chung International School at Puxi campus in Hongqiao for Early Childhood and Primary students provides a warm and caring atmosphere where students are taught to collaborate, think critically, inquire and communicate effectively.

We recognize that not all students learn in the same way and structure our programs to meet these different needs.?We offer activities for students to explore varying interests and develop academic, artistic and motor skills as we assist each student in reaching his or her full potential.

Our philosophy is to promote international education through two languages - English and Chinese.

The rich diversity of our international student population and their experiences that they bring to our school facilitates the sharing of different perspectives amongst all students.

Students are actively encouraged to be critical of the world around them and recognize that each of them can make a difference. Students are encouraged to explore boundaries and discuss options available to them.

While we are proud of the academic results of our students, there is so much more to the education provided by YCIS Shanghai. Whether it is in the classroom, on the stage, participating in a field trip, on the sports field or supporting charity events, students are encouraged to experience the excitement of discovering they are capable of achieving far more than previously thought possible.
