Dreaming of World Cup stardom

HI everyone. I have two names, which are Jiho and Jenjy. I was born in South Africa, but my mom is from South Korea and my dad is from Japan. My dream is to be a world soccer player like Lionel Messi. I am now in grade 5.

I love soccer because of the FIFA World Cup. I want to go to Brazil in 2014. My mom and dad don’t agree because it is too expensive. I saw the World Cup in 2010. That time though I was nine, I could see it closely because it was in South Africa. I am planning to go to Brazil to enter a famous soccer school when I am 15 years old.

Six years later…

“Dude, quick, everybody is waiting for you!”

Now I am in Brazil waiting for the FIFA World Cup. I am a member of the South Korean soccer team. I wish that because of this game I won’t get bullied anymore. I think if I don’t score a goal there will never ever be a chance not to be bullied. Let’s take a shot.

Beep! The game has stared. Now I just need to concentrate on the ball. Oh what happened? A member of my team gets his leg broken. Somebody must get a yellow card. Do I need to help him, the guy who has always bullied me. I am surprised. How can the captain of the team get hurt? How can we win this game? Let’s do it. Let’s go!

I have got chances to kick the ball seven times. Finally, I score two goals with help from my teammates. Without their assists, there is no way that I could score by myself. Unbelievably, we win the game 3-2.
