Plastic today, plastic tomorrow

Look around yourself! It’s not hard to find that we are surrounded by various plastic products. Because of this, it seems difficult to cut down the plastic usage, but that’s simply not the case. I’d like to share some personal feelings and experiences to make our Earth a better place.

First, I will advise you to buy things of high quality. It’s not a waste of money if you can use the product for a long time. On the contrary, it not only saves money in the long run, but also cuts back on your overall plastic usage.

Also, kitchen is a place of plastic, too. Where do you put your groceries? Plastic bags! Where do you put away your leftovers? Plastic boxes! Sounds familiar, right? What can we do to reduce the plastic usage in the kitchen? It would be fantastic if we can use washable glass containers or durable baskets instead.

Being a wise and green customer is helpful. When you go to a restaurant, try not to use the plastic straws. If you order a takeaway, make sure to ask that they do not include plastic utensils like chopsticks with your food as well.

Plastic overuse has become a global environmental problem. It affects every individual. Thus, raise our awareness, or we are definitely doomed. Encouragingly, our government is taking more actions to solve this problem.
