Program Code: 0909346160905010 Source: Tencent
Twenty-three panda cubs, all born in 2016, were shown to the public at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in Sichuan Province on September 29.
A video clip went viral online showing the cute cubs lying or frolicking with each other at the panda base.
In a funny scene, a naughty cub tried to "escape" but ended up falling down right on its head. The hilarious moment caused an outburst of laughter among visitors.
According to media reports, a total of 27 cubs, including 10 sets of twins, were bred at the center this year; 23 are still living in China while 4 are overseas.
The center, which was established in the late 1980s with only six pandas, now has 176.
One netizen commented, "Cuteness overload! I'd like to be one of them and mingle together."
