There are a lot of ways to express your attitude toward a person's manner, but it might not include throwing away someone's shoes.

While a man was sleeping at Xiamen Airport with his pair of shoes put aside, a young man threw the shoes in a bin.

Meanwhile, he recorded his "mischief" and uploaded it on social media.

The video begins with a young man complaining about the indecent behavior of a man sleeping at the airport after temporarily doing away with his shoes.

He claims to have approached the staff earlier. However, neither they nor other passengers around saw anything improper in it.

He pointed out their indifference as abetting the uncivilized behavior.

Claiming to be obliged to teach the man a lesson in public decency, he picks his shoes up and dumps it in the bin.

Later the airport staff defended their response saying that the airport laid great effort on promoting good manners in public.

“But the airport has no right to punish passengers for that,” they said.

The staff also said that the young man should have complained rather than behave like that.

Many netizens admired the young man's act, though some doubted his purpose and if the incident was staged.

They said that he shot the video and uploaded it on Miaopai, a video sharing website, to gain cheap publicity.

Others also claimed of the act being illegal and that he had no right to throw someone else's shoes for simply taking them off while lying at the airport.
