The video of their ballet, captured on June 4, became a hit online and has since been viewed by more than 1 million netizens, Xinhua news agency reported.
According to the report, dancers in the video were stuck in the airport due to flight delay on the rainy day.
They decided to have an impromptu dance to kill time.
The group director Wang Yuanyuan, one of China's leading modern dance choreographers, said they were just amusing themselves, not performing.
Netizens felt glad to see the video and said, "Great! Art is everywhere!" Someone also commented," Is it proper to perform on the passenger conveyor?"
What a perfect remedy! Enjoy their dance.
