An eight-year-old boy in Yantai City in Shandong Province set a world record after completing 16 consecutive single-hand backward somersaults.
A video of his record feat has gone viral online.
His grandfather said the boy would often fall sick and catch cold. So his family sent him to a martial arts school to boost his stamina and health.
“Single-hand backward somersault requires explosive power, speed and balance.” His coach said. The boy has been practicing for two years.
