Flooded Road Gives Jiangxi Her Spirited Away Moment!
What's the feeling of smoothly driving a car in the water?
Residents in east China's Jiangxi Province can tell you their special experiences.
Continuous downpour in Jiangxi has led to a rise in the water level of the Poyang Lake, China's largest freshwater lake.
Due to this, the Dahuchi section of Yongxiu-Wucheng Road was submerged in water recently.
Photos taken on June 4 showing the beautiful scenery of the submerged road were widely shared on social media.
The 5.05-kilomter Dahuchi water highway is a natural attraction.
It won the name of "most beautiful water highway" in July 2014 when a netizen shared online a series of photos taken with friends on the submerged road.
The photos drew great attention that year.
Netizens said it reminded them of the famous Japanese animation Spirited Away in which there is a road submerged by water.
The Dahuchi Road was also flooded at the Poyang Lake National Nature Reserve due to relentless heavy rainfall in June 2015.
Sometimes too much rain and flood, otherwise problematic, can also give memorable moments.
