Girl, 2, Dies In Freak Bank Accident

A two-year-old girl died when a cabinet-sized counter for bank slips collapsed on her in Henan Province on April 23.

The girl tried to reach the top of the counter when her father was dealing with the bank staff.

The structure fell on top of the girl. The father surnamed Liao and one of the bank staff rushed to lift it and remove the girl, Legal Evening News reported. 

Liao rushed her to the hospital. However, the baby girl did not survive, the report said.
