Repairman Scales Building To Rescue Boy Dangling From Window
He's not Spiderman, but this didn’t stop an air-conditioner repairman from becoming a hero to one little boy in Ruichang City, in east China’s Jiangxi Province.
The little boy was posted hanging from a third-floor window at around 3pm on June 26, according to Xunyang Evening Post.
Liu Yicheng, an air conditioner repairman who happened to pass by, saw the situation. He immediately went upstairs, climbed out of a window in a neighbor's home and rescued the boy.
According to one resident who lives nearby, the boy was dangling with only one hand on a clothing rack and one foot on the edge of a balcony.
No one dares imagine what would have happened if Liu had not appeared when he did, a woman surnamed Fan said.
Netizens applauded Liu for his bravery and quick thinking. However, Liu said all the onlookers were trying to help the boy. "Because of my job, I'm good at climbing. So I took action and rescued the boy. I just did what I should do," Liu added.
