University Student Makes Unfortunate Discovery In His Bed
A college student in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality found out first hand, and was not amused.
The boy from Sichuan International Studies University, woke in his dormitory on June 21 to find a black snake in his bed, Chongqing Morning Post reported.
Although he was unharmed, the boy was extremely frightened.
He later posted a picture online, which drew great attention from the public.
Most regarded his frightening encounter as a fortuitous meeting.
Some commented that the boy is the offspring of Xu Xian, a young scholar who falls in love with Lady White Snake, a kind snake spirit, according to the legend of "Madame White Snake."
