Woman Riding Electric Bike Slams Into Truck While Watching Cellphone

A woman who was riding a battery bike while staring at her mobile phone at the same time crashed into a parked truck in Xuancheng, Anhui Province.
As CCTV footage shows, the woman fell heavily after hitting the truck about 11am. She was rushed to a nearby hospital. The injuries were not life threatening, but she required 30 stitches to her head.
Local police said she was lucky the injuries were not worse due to the fact she was not travelling fast.
She admitted to traffic police that she had been watching her cell phone when the accident happened. The woman will take full responsibility for the accident, police said.
