'Kung Fu' Firefighter Pulls Man From Ledge
Photos of a firefighter rescuing a man on the top floor of a building in Shanghai's Jing'an District have gone viral on social media. The incident happened on January 21.
In the pictures, an apparently suicidal man can be seen sitting in his underwear on the edge of the building’s roof. Without being observed, the firefighter in question approaches the man slowly from behind and pulls him from the ledge.
Many netizens applauded the firefighter for his agility and likened him to a kung fu master.
According to media reports, the firefighter, Wang Zuotian, used to practice taekwondo.
