Race Against Death: Hospital Staff Save Man Who Suffered Sudden Cardiac Arrest

The staff of Qixia City People's Hospital in Shandong Province is winning accolades for successfully reviving a man who suffered sudden cardiac arrest on September 21.
A man fainted shortly after he stepped out of the elevator on the sixth floor of the hospital, which is the inpatient section.
Nurses rushed to the spot after receiving a call from the monitoring center. They found that the man's heart had stopped beating. One of the nurses, Wang Yaping, went down on her knees to give him external cardiac massage. Other hospital staff also joined in the effort.
He was rushed to the emergency room. Wang can be seen keeping taking measures all the way.
Media reports said the man who suffered intracerebral hemorrhage that caused cardiac arrest but doctors were able to give him a new lease of life.
One netizen said, "I am proud of the hospital staff. They didn't give up and saved valuable life." Another netizen commented, "We should respect all the angels in white."
