The Game Is Up For Uncooperative Kid
The game was finally up for an uncooperative, lost child who refused to talk to police.
The missing boy was eventually reunited with his family thanks to a quick-thinking police officer who engaged in a game of “Glory of the King” with the child to get him to communicate.
The police, in Yan’an, Shaanxi Province, received a report that a boy was wandering around the Luohe Bridge in the pouring rain on June 4. Acting on this information, the police picked up the boy but could not contact his parents because he would not talk to them.
But, once the police officer opened the popular video app on his mobile phone, the sixth grade schoolboy became responsive and eventually started talking, telling him his father’s name while playing the game.
Police then contacted the boy’s father, after an online screening with his parents, and the boy was finally reunited with his family.
