Decapitated Kitten Evokes Fury Among The Public
Two kittens were found dead, one of them decapitated, in a community in northwest China's Xi'an on June 15, local news portal hsw.cn reported.
The shocking images shared online have provoked fury among the public.
According to the report, a woman surnamed Yang, an animal lover who frequently fed the kitten's mother, found both of the newborn kittens brutally killed at around 1pm that day.
The kittens’ mother can be seen licking one kitten's lifeless body, with some guts exposed. Another kitten is nearby, with only the head left.
Yang told media,
These kittens couldn’t have been crushed by a car; they were so young they could barely walk. They must’ve been hacked to death by someone with the knife. The killer was extremely cruel!
Yang called police. However, officers did not come since the only victims of the crime were two kittens.
As of now, nobody knows who the killer was. The usual monitoring facilities weren’t working on that day.
The kittens were given a proper burial by Yang and her daughter.
