This might look like a Hollywood car-chase scene but it actually happened in Shanxi Province last year.

The incident came to be known after the shocking footage of a loader driver deliberately crashing into cars and people before being shot dead by police was widely shared online recently.

According to Shanxi Evening News, the incident happened on September 3 last year in Shuozhou City.

The loader driver's rash action resulted in an electric biker crashed to death, nearly 20 people injured and more than 10 cars badly damaged.

Initially, a car driver walked to the front of the loader to confront the driver because the loader occupied two lanes.

However, the loader driver tried to run the man over.

The car driver then called the police for help.

Soon, police cars arrived at the scene. However, the loader didn't stop and even chased the police cars.

Other police cars joined the action from different sides.

Then the yellow loader smashed a car.

This scared away those in the car. They quickly ran away.

The loader driver going on rampage forced the armed police to join the chase.

During the chase, the loader hit a number of cars and pedestrians, and ran over an electric bike rider.

It seemed that nothing can stop the crazy driver. The loader headed into police cars and crashed into a bus crowded with passengers as well.

Eventually, seeing that the frenzied driver could not be stopped, the driver was shot and killed by the armed police.
