Model Boyfriend Turns Out GF’s Injurer
It would have been deemed as a fairy tale if Lin Yinyin, a vegetative patient, would have remained unconscious. And her boyfriend Liu Fenghe would have always been deemed as a model partner.
But the truth set in when Lin got her senses back. Her boyfriend fled as soon as this happened as it was him who drove her girlfriend unconscious in the first place.
Now Liu is under detention for intentional injury, reported Liaoshen Evening News.
The story dates back to September 29, 2014, when the couple ran a bakery in Dalian, Liaoning Province. Lin failing in baking enraged Liu to beat her with a rolling pin.
Lin went vegetative.
Fearing punishment, Liu lied in public, blaming the situation on her having slipped.
He even accompanied Liu every day and raised up to 200,000 yuan for her treatment. This included 30,000 yuan raised from donations.
The story went viral in 2015, when netizens were mostly moved by it.
When Lin was moved to her father’s in March 2015, Liu fled, fearing one day Lin was able to talk.
He fled to different cities, such as Beijing, Shenyang, Baotou and Yinchuan, working at construction sites.
When Lin came to herself in June 2015, the truth came out.
Liu was detained on April 20 this year. After getting caught, Liu said that he was driven by the eagerness to make more money.
When Lin's mother told her daughter the news, Lin said:
I'm so happy. Finally he won't beat me any more!
However, still paralyzed, Lin is unable to afford her costly treatment.
Liu in jail confessed to the press and expressed his willingness to take care of her.
