Over 40 Needles Found In A Cat's Body
A woman living in the southern city of Shenzhen found a bulge on the back of the neck of the cat she adopted a year ago.
She took her cat to the hospital and was unexpectedly told by the doctor that there were about 40 needles in the cat’s body, guancha.cn reported.
A vet told her that the needles may have been shot into the cat’s body by something like an air gun. Doctors spent almost four hours to take out 43 needles including broken and rusted ones from its body.
According to the hospital, 30 needles were found in its abdominal space, seven under skin and muscles, four in left kidney, three and two broken ones near chest and heart respectively.
For its overall treatment, the cat has gone through X-rays 53 times.
The cat’s owner said she would pay the treatment costs herself and told social media users not to bother her with donation messages.
Who could possible treat a cat like this?!
