THE Somali government confirmed that both French hostages abducted a month ago managed to escape from their captors.
The Somali minister of information Dahir Mohamud Gelle told reporters that two French security advisers are safe and sound at the "custody of the government".
Earlier reports suggested only one of the hostage fled from the kidnappers.
The French security experts were taken hostage by Islamist insurgent last month.
