Police say a gunman has opened fire at a high school in southern Germany, killing at least two students before fleeing the scene.
Police spokeswoman Renate Roesch says several other people were injured.
The gunman fled after the attack on Wednesday in the city of Winnenden, northeast of Stuttgart, and police were searching for him.
No further details were immediately available.
