21 injured on plane
AN Air Canada flight from China finally landed in Toronto on Thursday, bringing most of its passengers to their destination on New Year’s Eve after 21 people were injured due to strong turbulence. Flight AC088 from Shanghai’s Pudong Airport was forced to land in Calgary on Wednesday, Air Canada said, and the injured, including three children, were taken to hospital. The airline said eight had non-life threatening injuries, while the rest were simply under observation.
