THREE people were killed and more than 20 others injured after unidentified gunmen attacked on Saturday a U.N. peacekeeping base in the northern Malian town of Kidal,a spokesman for the U.N. force in Mali (MINUSMA) said.
MINUSMA's spokesman Olivier Salgado said the injured are being evacuated, adding that some of them are in critical condition.
