39 mountain climbers stuck in eastern Turkey

 Some 39 mountain climbers have stuck in their tents in eastern Turkey due to storm, private Dogan News Agency reported on Saturday.
  
The climbers, who were attending International Agri Mountain climb, departed from eastern Igdir province of Turkey and spent the night in their tents in 2,950 meters high near Cehennem Valley.
  
Mountaineers were planning to climb 3,200 meters on Saturday, bet were caught in a storm, Turkish Mountaineering Federation (TDF) chair Alaattin Karaca, who is among the climbers, said.
  
Karaca said they would not be able to continue climbing higher at the moment and got stuck in the tents which are under heavy windstorm.
  
The climbers, 12 of them foreigners, would have tried to reach peak of Agri Mountain on Sunday, he noted.
