4 UN workers killed in Bolivia plane crash

FOUR UN anti-drug workers and two Bolivian pilots were found dead after their plane crashed in western Bolivia on Friday, authorities said Saturday local time.

The Cessna small aircraft went missing after it left for a mission to monitor the country's coca-growing area north of the capital of La Paz.

Because the plane went down in a deep forest, it took two days for the rescuers to finally get to its wreckage. Bolivian authorities said it appeared that the aircraft had hit a tree.
