AN earthquake measuring 6.6 on the Richter Scale hit New Britain region at 8:03am Beijing Time today, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.
The epicenter was monitored at 6.0 degrees south latitude and 151.1 degrees east longitude with a depth of about 20 kilometers, the center said.
