7 rockets rattle Afghan capital wound 2

SEVEN rockets fired by militants hit Afghan capital Kabul early this morning, wounding at least two civilians, a private television channel reported.

"The rockets fired from Deh Sabz area landed at several places including the posh area Wazir Akbar Khan," Tolo quoted Interior Ministry spokesman Zamarai Bashari as saying.

Two civilians sustained injuries, the television added.

This is the first time since beginning this year that militants targeted Kabul with rockets.

The rockets, according to the official were fired from Deh Sabz, some 15 km north of the capital city Kabul.
